About the Role
UMG's Legal & Compliance team is seeking a Vice President, Employment Legal and Compliance to shape employment legal strategy and strengthen compliance frameworks across the organisation as a senior leader at the heart of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise executive and senior leaders on complex, high-profile employment matters including restructures, investigations and senior exits
- Lead on the most sensitive and high-risk employment law issues with sound judgement and commercial pragmatism
- Oversee employment tribunal claims and other contentious matters
- Strengthen compliance frameworks across a dynamic creative organisation
- Partner across labels and corporate teams on a UK and international basis
Requirements
- Extensive senior employment law experience, ideally within a large or matrixed organisation
- Strong track record advising on high-profile, sensitive employment matters
- Excellent judgement, commercial pragmatism and stakeholder management skills
