About the Role

UMG is seeking a Tax Manager to manage compliance with tax reporting requirements across its UK business units, providing advice on tax issues and maintaining strong relationships with the Global Tax and BU Finance teams. Reports to the Head of UK Tax.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a mixed tax portfolio covering corporate, employment, VAT and international taxes
Support the Head of UK Tax in managing the relationship with HMRC's Large Business Office
Support tax audits and handle enquiries or requests from HMRC
Act as main point of contact for tax authorities and consultants across all taxes
Provide tax advice on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and commercial arrangements
Maintain compliance with transfer pricing, SAO, CIR, CBCR and Pillar 2 regulations

Requirements

Tax and/or accounting qualification with proven mixed tax compliance experience, in-house or in practice
Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and planning opportunities
Excellent relationship-building skills across departments and functions
