Overview
Universal Music seeks a DevOps engineer to join the Beats & Bytes technical team, building internal platforms that enable teams to ship software reliably, securely, and quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop reusable platform solutions tailored to different team needs
- Improve developer experience and reduce operational complexity
- Guide product teams on cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and SLA/SLO compliance
- Integrate security measures into platforms and processes
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Collaborate across business and international technology stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Production systems operations experience
- Platform product development and maintenance expertise
- Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Kubernetes, relational databases, check_mk, DNS, and Linux
- Software development experience (Python or PHP preferred)
- System security and supply chain vulnerability knowledge
Languages: German and English, both at an excellent level (read, write, speak)
