About the Role
Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) is seeking a Management Accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of certain business units within UMPG.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for month-end close process, including commentaries on results, cash flow and Management Pack
- Maintain the general ledger, including reconciliations, provisions/accruals and journal posting
- Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley control environment
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and liaise with internal and external auditors
- Handle artist contractual and non-contractual payments and budget approvals
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a strong academic background
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience and understanding of a full P&L and balance sheet
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
