About the Role
UMG's Royalty and Copyright Product Team is seeking a Lead Developer to design and maintain one of UMG's external-facing royalty portals using Java, working with Kubernetes and AWS Redshift/Aurora PostgreSQL. This role initially requires a late shift pattern working with an offshore team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java
- Develop and support AWS serverless solutions (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3)
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes to build, deploy and run containerised services
- Provide technical leadership and direction for the Royalty development team
- Model and optimise data across AWS Redshift and Aurora PostgreSQL
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Java for backend development
- Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Details
Initially requires a late shift pattern working with an offshore team, moving to ad-hoc thereafter
