About the Role

Something Something is a digital-native content strategy studio working with music artists and cultural brands. IRL takes the fan communities the studio runs online and gives them a real place to gather — listening parties, release events, meet-ups — turning content into memory and marketing into community. This role leads that work within the Fan Engagement team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use social listening and community insight to work out what a fanbase would genuinely turn up for
  • Shape ideas collaboratively and write them into proposals (concept, format, timings, budget, measurement)
  • Build and maintain a network of venues, promoters, collectives and other spaces for events
  • Produce events end-to-end: recces, venue contracts, suppliers, licensing, risk assessments, run of show
  • Build anticipation through announcement moments, launch assets and RSVP mechanics
  • Brief and coordinate content capture and amplification so key moments go live in real time
  • Deliver post-event reviews and feed learnings back to the team

Requirements

  • A genuine understanding of fan culture and what makes events feel special
  • Strong producer instincts: comfortable with timelines, suppliers, venues and logistics
  • Social-first thinking and strong organisational skills
  • Collaborative, curious, and always looking for new formats

Benefits

  • Unlimited annual leave (minimum 28 days tracked)
  • 2:1 employer pension match
  • Hybrid working: 2 days/week in the East London office
  • Overtime pay for late nights, shoots and weekend festivals
