Shotgun, the platform for live music event organizers and touring artists, is building a dedicated product squad around Money (payments, tax compliance and a revamp of its PSP architecture) and is hiring a Product Data Analyst in Paris to be its analytical partner and guardian of data quality.

What you will do

Define and monitor the squad's metrics, including financial metrics, and educate the team and stakeholders on how to read them
Lead data reconciliation projects between PSP data (Stripe and others), internal ledgers and accounting systems
Design advanced data models for financial flows (payments, payouts, taxes, compliance reporting) and challenge the existing data model and metrics
Define a clear standard and set up ownership for business-critical financial data
Support the PSP architecture revamp: data quality checks, migration validation, monitoring
Contribute to discovery, tracking specs and QA, monitoring after launch, bug analysis and A/B tests when relevant
Collaborate with your squad, Ops and Finance
Contribute to the Data Platform (dbt, Snowflake, Airbyte) beyond your squad scope
Build and keep up to date the context source of truth (metric definitions, business rules, documentation) that AI agents rely on

Must have

2 years of experience minimum, including one solid full-time experience on a similar topic (financial data or a regulated, high-rigor environment: fintech, payments, fraud, compliance)
Very strong data modeling skills and solid SQL (complex queries)
A strong analytical mind and a solid academic background
Comfort with numbers and a wish to go deeper into Python, dashboards and product metrics
A strong appetite for the product (product experience is not required)
Use of AI tools in your day-to-day work
Fluent in French and English

Nice to have

Basic understanding of payment flows and main players
Stripe or other PSP data modeling knowledge, data reconciliation, notions of tax compliance
Airbyte, dbt, Metabase, Hex, Snowflake, PostHog (willingness to learn is a requirement)
B2B experience, advanced use of AI tools
A passion for entertainment: music, gaming, events
