The role
To lead business and data analysis activity across complex change initiatives in Membership. Working with federated data sets to translate strategic and operational needs into clear business requirements, data requirements, process designs and analytical outputs that support effective decision-making and successful delivery.
The role provides senior analytical capability for the MCPS project for Membership, shaping future-state processes, analytics, reporting and monitoring approaches, and ensuring business requirements are understood, evidenced and translated into deliverable solutions. When the MCPS project has been completed, the role will transition to support business as usual activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design and delivery activity required for the MCPS project commitments, including completing SLA rework that requires senior or lead data analysis capability.
- Analyse current and future-state business processes, translating MCPS requirements into clear business requirements, data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery artefacts.
- Design and support delivery of a revised Salesforce categorisation data model, ensuring governance and reporting needs are understood and documented.
- Use federated data sets to conduct data analysis, categorisation analysis and demand analysis to inform operating model decisions, service design, prioritisation and performance expectations.
- Analyse and define case routing rules, future-state processes and procedures, working closely with product, technology, operational and third-party stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and provide the analysis and design outputs needed to support effective, scalable and controlled automation within the MCPS future-state solution.
- Translate SLA and SLT requirements into dashboard, reporting and performance-monitoring requirements that enable proactive management, trend analysis and service performance governance.
- Provide the link between the membership business teams, data and analytics teams and technology delivery teams, ensuring requirements, risks, assumptions and dependencies remain clear throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support testing, validation and implementation activity by defining testable requirements, reviewing outputs, analysing defects and ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed business and data outcomes.
About you
- Significant experience in a senior business analyst, data analyst, business intelligence or analytical delivery role, ideally within complex transformation or service improvement programmes.
- Proven ability to analyse complex business problems, processes, data flows and service performance requirements, and translate them into clear, structured delivery outputs.
- Experience of data modelling, data categorisation, demand analysis, reporting requirements and dashboard design, with the ability to define meaningful measures, controls and performance indicators.
- Experience working with CRM, case management, workflow or service-management platforms; Salesforce experience is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery practices, requirements management, testing and implementation governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across business, technology, data and third-party teams.
- Advanced analytical capability and confidence using data tools, reporting platforms and Microsoft applications; Power BI or equivalent visualisation experience is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound judgements from incomplete information and produce high-quality documentation at pace.

- Diversity of thought and experience as the platform for innovation and creativity, with eight Affinity Groups you can join.
