Muse Group is hiring a Royalty Manager for its Global Royalty team, which pays composers, authors and publishers. The role is remote within Europe and is the main contact for US partners.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for US partners, handling their questions about royalty statements, deals and process changes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with external partners.
- Help integrate AI and automation into royalty processes to improve efficiency and the partner experience.
Requirements
- Experience in business communication with external partners or clients.
- 3+ years in royalty administration or accounting, ideally in music publishing, print music or book publishing.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and experience with large datasets.
- High accuracy and the ability to manage deadline-driven work.
- Comfort working in a distributed US/Europe team.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Experience with royalty or licensing processes.
- Knowledge of royalty contract terms (rates, advances, recoupment, reserves, splits, sub-publishing).
- SQL or ERP/royalty system experience.
