About the Role

Own the Mozart mobile app end to end (React Native/Expo, with Swift and Kotlin where needed) — generations, multiplayer sessions, background audio, offline projects and cloud sync all need to run smoothly on a phone.

Key Responsibilities

Own the app's architecture, state management and navigation
Design the navigation model across generation, editing, collaboration, listening and social features
Build multiplayer presence, shared session state and conflict resolution on mobile
Own the persistent background/offline job system (generations, uploads, downloads, sync)
Make audio first-class: background playback, system controls, interruptions, Bluetooth/AirPlay
Build the social layer for touch: media-heavy feeds, publishing, sharing, push notifications
Go native (Swift/Kotlin) where the platform demands it; own delivery and measurement (OTA updates, releases, attribution)

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience with deep React Native/Expo production app experience
Native fluency in Swift and Kotlin
Deep understanding of Hermes, JSI and the native module system
Experience with background/offline systems and audio session handling on mobile
Experience with deep links and attribution SDKs

Details

In-person role from Mozart AI's Central London office. Right to work in the UK required (no visa sponsorship, but relocation support to London is offered). Significant equity offered; Mozart AI has raised over $7M from Balderton Capital and other investors.
