CC Young & Co, a leading music specialist firm of accountants and tax advisors in the City of London, is hiring a qualified Accountant for its Business Services department to prepare year-end accounts and management accounts for artists, managers and their companies.

Duties to include

Preparation of year-end financial statements for Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships and Sole Traders
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Working with bookkeepers and trainee accountants to meet client compliance requirements and accounting deadlines
Assisting the Head of Department with ad hoc projects as they arise

Skills & Qualifications

2 years+ working at a music industry accounting firm or similar
Qualified ACCA / ACA
Experience in accounts preparation

Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviours Required

Good working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production Software or similar, Sage Line 50 and Xero
Ability to produce accounts working papers to a high standard
Ability to exercise judgement in the presentation of financial information
Ability to prioritise workload and manage a portfolio of clients with guidance
Good interpersonal skills; confident and professional with clients and staff
Attention to detail and ability to work well within a team
A go-with-the-flow attitude: able to change the plan to accommodate urgent matters
Ability to work to deadlines and produce accurate work under pressure
