Young, the London-based music and arts organisation and record label within Beggars Group, is hiring an experienced Project Manager for the Young Recordings team to own the day-to-day delivery of artist campaigns in the UK and internationally. Applications close 23 October (6pm UK time).
About Young
Young is a music and arts organisation, built around a London-based record label, that helps exceptional artists locate and develop their genius.
The role
Based at Young Space, our offices in East London, you will work closely with the General Manager, A&R, artists and their management from the earliest stages of a project, helping to shape campaign strategies and release plans that stay true to each artist's creative vision. You will own the day-to-day delivery of assigned campaigns, coordinating teams across the label and the wider Beggars Group. You will be the trusted point person for artists, managers and internal teams, keeping timelines, assets and budgets on track while bringing together input from creative, press, digital, marketing, radio, streaming, retail and international teams. This is a full-time role, 4 days per week in the office, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- From the conception of projects, work closely with artists, managers, A&R and the General Manager to craft campaign strategies and release plans in line with the artists' creative vision.
- Take day-to-day ownership of assigned campaigns, ensuring information and assets are clearly communicated to all relevant teams and directing those teams to deliver the campaign.
- Bring together input from A&R, Creative, Press, Digital, Marketing, Radio, Streaming, Retail & International teams to determine priorities and campaign direction.
- Develop and manage detailed campaign timelines, identifying key milestones and opportunities across the release cycle (incl. promo / press trips).
- Be the accessible point person for day-to-day concerns, troubleshooting independently or escalating as appropriate.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with artists, managers, booking agents and other key external partners.
- Lead the coordination of campaign assets (artwork, press photos, videos & other creative assets) with artists/managers, A&R and creative teams, ensuring all delivery deadlines are met.
- Work with Beggars Group's global teams to coordinate international campaign activity across key markets.
- Manage campaign budgets set with the General Manager, track spend and flag changes in scope.
- Provide campaign updates, reporting, feedback and ideas to label and group stakeholders.
Experience
- At least 4 years of substantial, professional music or entertainment industry experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in product management or managing day-to-day campaign logistics.
- Proven ability to own a diverse mix of artist campaigns from planning through execution, balancing strategy with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the music industry and confidence working across multiple teams, stakeholders and international markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong judgement and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Genuine cultural curiosity and a deep love and knowledge of music, with an understanding of Young's creative identity and the wider Beggars Group.
- Highly organised, collaborative, discreet and professional, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
The role occasionally requires work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, around key campaign moments and releases. The role requires the right to work in the UK indefinitely. Young embraces equal employment opportunity for all.
