About the Role
AIAIAI is looking for a plugged-in, music-obsessed Community Specialist to serve as its boots-on-the-ground voice across digital music spaces — Discord servers, music subreddits and fan/creator communities — cultivating grassroots relationships with rising producers, bedroom beatmakers and subculture catalysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AIAIAI's presence across subreddits (e.g. r/edmproduction, r/synthesizers, r/FL_Studio) and music Discord communities, driving discussions and gathering feedback
- Map out, contact, and build relationships with creators running influential music meme pages, fan accounts, and emerging track-ID channels on Instagram, TikTok and X
- Get AIAIAI gear into the hands of up-and-coming electronic artists, bedroom producers and underground DJs
- Track micro-trends in electronic music, production tech, and youth music culture, and translate them into actionable tactics
- Act as the internal voice of young creators within AIAIAI
Requirements
- Deeply embedded in electronic music culture: goes to local shows, follows obscure releases and subgenre/gear trends
- Native digital citizen, understands internet culture, Reddit etiquette and how music communities communicate online
- Highly proactive, self-motivated natural connector
- Gear-literate: basic familiarity with DAWs, DJ setups or music production equipment
