About the Role
Lead the Security Operations Control Centre (SOCC) at The O2 in London. Permanent role on a rotating 5-days-on, 5-off pattern including weekends and a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a control room service that keeps health, safety and security procedures in place
- Support emergency procedures and assist the Duty Security or Venue Manager during major incidents
- Make sound decisions and manage incidents during live events and escalations
- Operate and supervise all control room systems
- Lead the SOCC team, including identifying training needs
- Ensure compliance with CCTV legislation, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
Requirements
- SIA CCTV Operator licence and relevant control room experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience supervising and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365
- Experience with radio and telephone communications
